Deleting it yourself
In the app, open Settings and choose Delete everything. You will be asked to type your email address back, because it cannot be undone. Deletion starts immediately.
If you signed in with Facebook
You can also remove Ojafi from Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Ojafi → Remove. Facebook tells us, and we delete your account here the same way, then hand Facebook a link to this page so you can check.
What goes
Your reading and the answers behind it, everything you have logged, your saved recipes and cook logs, your public profile if you made one, who you follow and who follows you, your sign-in accounts and the account itself. Anonymous analytics events are not linked to you once the account is gone and are kept for 12 months.
What is kept, and why
Paid orders, with your email address, your account link and your answers stripped out of them. There is a legal obligation to keep transaction records, which is the exemption at Article 17(3)(b); what stays is the amount, the currency and the receipt reference, and none of it names you. A referral somebody else earned by inviting you also survives, detached from you: they keep the credit, the record no longer says who.
